Project Summary
Analogous to the Romans not stopping their series of conquests even after taking control over Gaul or Alexander the Great not concluding his campaign to take his army further east even after conquering Persia, we, modern day humans, shall not limit ourselves to the finite resources of Earth, but rather look beyond, striving to explore the universe, harness new technologies, and push the boundaries of human potential, forging a future that knows no limits. We went from building the first car to reaching the moon in less than four generations and, yet, here we are again, facing humanity’s greatest challenge yet: beginning life outside of Earth. This project is the first step towards ensuring the survival of our species and expanding our presence beyond the confines of our home planet.
Four space settlements will be constructed in space: Moonlight Explorer, located near the Moon; Zeus Station, situated near Jupiter; Red Horizon, positioned near Mars; and Belt Runner, located by the Asteroid Belt. Each will simulate Earth-like living conditions and house an initial population of roughly 160,000 people. Taking into account the vast array of resources which can be extracted from the celestial bodies near these settlements, they will be self-sustaining. Besides that, valuable materials obtained from these cosmic objects will be constantly exported to Earth, due to the primary goal of this mission: to take a long-term profitable action with the hope that one day the resources gathered will be worth more than the money spent to build these space stations and to become less reliant on Earth’s limited resources. This mission’s secondary goal is establishing colonies outside Earth, which can become an essential step in preserving humanity. Through this mission, we are not only building space settlements, but also a backup plan for our civilization, ensuring that no matter what may unfold on our home planet, the story of humanity can continue to evolve elsewhere in the cosmos.
